In 2024 after a suggestion at last years AGM we are trialing a Summer Singles League. The fixtures have been issued to those who are taking part and the first week of games will be on Thursday 13th June 2024. The players have been split into 4 leagues of 5 and players rated as either an A, B or C player. All games will be two frames with one point awarded for each frame. A maximum break of 5000 has been set but if you go over you will still keep the 5000. We are using 4 venues but only 3 venues will be in use each fixture week. The C players will receive all breaks, the B players will receive all breaks against the A players. When 2 players rated the same play each other it is one break each and toss for first break.
A Players are Dave Ingram, Joe Oakley, Chris Cox, Stuart Mepham, Rick Cunningham and Tony Jenner. B Players are Dave Collins, Matt Jones, Dave Jones, Chris Lucas, Alan Mepham, Paul Moyes-Robb, Phil Oakley, James Whittle and Pete Hickman. The C players are Krystal Beck, Steve Aylmore, Liam Hurley, Tony Collins and Tasha Light.
The Leagues are A - Dave Ingram, Chris Cox, Matt Jones, Tasha Light and Dave Collins. B - Rick Cunningham, Paul Moyes-Robb, Dave Jones, Tony Collins and Steve Aylmore. C - Tony Jenner, Phil Oakley, Chris Lucas, Krystal Beck and Alan Mepham. D - Joe Oakley, Stuart Mepham, Liam Hurley, Pete Hickman and James Whittle.

The Summer Singles a new idea for this year and the feed back has been very good and with a few tweaks and a set of proper rules this will now hopefully become a summer event going forward.
